QD (Quantum Dot): Quantum dots, a new type of nanomaterial with a particle size of 2-20nm, can emit high-quality monochromatic light such as red and green with narrow half wave width and high color purity after excitation. TV backlighting can achieve a wider color gamut display (increased from traditional NTSC 72% to 110%) by applying quantum dot technology. QD film: Quantum dot film is a special optical film with a wide color gamut made mainly of quantum dots, barrier resins, and optical grade water oxygen barrier films, combined with high-precision coating technology. Unlike traditional liquid crystal displays, quantum dot displays use blue LED as the light source. Quantum dot films are excited by blue light to produce pure green and red light, which then mix with blue light to form high-quality white light. This special nanotechnology achieves high color gamut coverage of the display and restores colors.
